Rumors from a great Russia. Finding a common theme to tighten, it offers only useless cyclotron

Description

TREND repeatedly pointed to uselessness and ineffectiveness of economic completion of Cyclotron Centre by Slovak Republic. Equipment manufacturer, Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna, has already ready a cyclotron DC-72. It is paid from de-blocking, but huge building in Bratislava's Karlova Ves must be completed and funding for its operation must be found. According to preliminary calculations, just to complete the construction of itself, which is also in the Russian regime, will be around 50 million euros. However, unexhausted unlocking account barely exceed two million U.S. dollars. The future operation of special equipment looks even more complicated. President of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, Jaromir Pastorek, prior to entering directly said: 'Usability of the cyclotron is enormously low and the costs enormous'. According to preliminary calculations, it would cost 11 million per year with a view to increasing costs. The estimated benefits are - in an optimistic scenario - so ten percent. The greatest pressure on the completion creates the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic. Treatment of ocular melanoma, which can handle the planned type of cyclotron, is rare. The device would help approximately twenty patients yearly. It is financially more advantageous to send them abroad for treatment. Similar situation is with the often remembered radiopharmaceutical preparation. It is now economically more advantageous on cheaper, commercial cyclotron, under the control of pharmaceutical companies. Russians are losing patience with former cyclotron ordering and today's forlorn searching for finance. They are preparing materials for arbitration.
