Molybdenum and tungsten sublimation during atomic emission determinations
Description
Conditions of atomic emission analysis of rocks, excluding systematic error of determining molybdenum and tungsten are studied. It is stated that use of potassium hydrosulfate or potassium carbonate and sulphur mixture as a reagent promotes production of molybdenum and tungsten high-volatile (under conditions of chamber electrode) compounds. For both sublimation variants the relative systematic error of atomic emission analysis doesn't exceed 10%; the detection limit constitutes (3-4)x10-5% for molybdenum and 1x10-4% for tungsten. The time of analysis for one sample is 45-50 min
