Creators

Description

Requirements on contacts to radiation detectors are discussed. Aspects treated are the magnitude of the current injected from reverse-biased contacts and its influence on the noise (energy resolution), edge effects, the requirement of no injection from field-exposed ohmic contacts, window thickness, and special contact structures used for non-perfect semiconductors.
