Equipment for electron beam welding of tubes to tube plate

The equipment for welding tube joints with the tube plate consists of a vacuum chamber airtightly connected to the coordinate system bearing the electron jet. The equipment is provided with a fixture on which is mounted the heat exchanger which ends with a tube plate sealed to the vacuum chamber. The connection of the tube plate of the heat exchanger to the vacuum chamber may be sealed with a sealing ring inserted in the recess of the vacuum chamber and tightened with a flange which is provided with a divided insert and bolts. The electron jet is placed outside the vacuum chamber. (B.S.)
