Reflectivity of lanthanide oxysulfide powders

Description
Powders of lanthanum, praseodymium, neodymium, samarium, europium and ytterbium oxysulphides corresponding to the Ln2O2.5S0.5 composition are measured in a wide spectral range of reflection dispersion. Results of the measurements are presented. Optical values of the energy gap, dielectrical permeabilities and frequency of the optical backgrounds are determined. Optical characteristics of the studied compounds are compared with those for lanthanide oxysulphides with Ln2O2S composition
