Description
Several properties of the τ lepton have been measured precisely in e+e- annihilation by the CLEO II experiment at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring (CESR). This includes the τ mass and the branching ratios into electron and one charged particle plus multiple π0,s. The implication of these results on the 1-prong decay problem will be discussed
