Proceedings of the 16. annual conference of the Canadian Institute of Energy : Energy 2001 - Energy Markets in the New Millennium : Trends and Evolutions

This conference held by the Canadian Institute of Energy provided a Canadian perspective on energy technology, business and policy, both nationally and internationally. In particular, it was designed to provide a thorough examination of energy issues and trends within British Columbia. A variety of issues were discussed, including the environment, climate change, greenhouse gases, and alternative technologies. Some of the presentations dealt with the challenge of switching to renewable energy technologies for sustainable development. Others focused on trends in energy policy and business, energy market pricing, risk management, energy supply and demand, and regulatory trends.
