This article summarises the 'World energy scenarios by 2050 and 2100' lecture given on March 1, 2005, as part of the Mines-environment Club's activities. The lecture was the fruit of the work led by the author, by a think tank comprising MM Richard Lavergne, Michel Lung, Jacques Pradel and William Varoquaux. (author)
