Description
After a description of the line bundle introduced by E. Witten (IASSNS-HEP-88/33 (1988)) for the quantum state space of the 2+1 dimensional Yang-Mills theory with Chern-Simons term from an algebraic point of view the authors prove that the fibers of this holomorphic bundle imbed naturally into C∞ (S,L). Thereafter they sketch a heuristic path-integral approach which yields Witten's quantum state space. (orig./HSI)
