Description

The Federal Government has supported the IAEO and EU international agreements and has made bilateral agreements with neighbouring states in order to ensure a rapid exchange of information in the event of a nuclear emergency. The measures to be taken at home are based on various laws and responsibilities of the Federal government and the State (Laender) governments and require mutual agreement. The experience acquired in national and international exercises is of particular importance for the progress in measures and programmes. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Die Bundesregierung hat sich sowohl den internationalen Vereinbarungen der IAEO und der EU angeschlossen, als auch bilaterale Vereinbarungen mit Nachbarstaaten getroffen, um einen schnellen Informationsaustausch im kerntechnischen Notfall zu gewaehrleisten. Die im eigenen Land zu treffenden Massnahmen beruhen auf unterschiedlichen Gesetzen und Zustaendigkeiten von Bund und Laendern und beduerfen der gegenseitigen Abstimmung. Fuer die Fortschreibung der Massnahmen und Programme sind die in nationalen und internationalen Uebungen gewonnenen Erfahrungen von besonderer Bedeutung. (orig.)
