Study of oxygen chemisorption in V2O5-MoO3 systems
Description
Using electrochemical method with carbon paste electroactive electrode, the oxygen chemisorption on the surface of compounds in the V2O5-MoO3 system has been studied. The maximum amount of oxygen is detected in the range of the MoO3 solid solution in the V2O5. The oxygen chemisorption is practically absent in case of the β-phase and MoO3 mixtures. The current value of reduction and oxidation for the chemisorbed oxygen is extreme on the interface of the given system
