An improvement to iterative tracking for momentum determination
Description
Iterative tracking is a common method of determining the momentum of a particle when some track coordinates are observed before and after known magnetic fields. For this the momentum is somehow estimated, and a track computed and iteratively adjusted to fit the observations. In the present method the momentum, as well as the four other unknown track parameters, is evaluated from a set of five linear equations. (Auth.)
