Nuclear safety research in the Federal Republic of Germany - contribution to licensing process and plant performance
Description
An overview is given on the current programme of reactor safety research in the Federal Republic of Germany. For a number of selected topics the development of the research work and the contribution of the results to licensing and plant performance is shown. The presentation concentrates on the research into component safety, quality assurance, transient analysis, accident sequences, man/machine interaction, risk, and reliability sponsored by the Ministry for Research and Technology.
