Processes of mutual precipitation in the ZrO2-In2O3-Nd2O3 and ZrO2-In2O3-Y2O3 systems

Description
Optimal conditions of coprecipitation of Zr, In, Nd, Y hydroxides from nitric acid solutions by ammonium hydroxide solution were determined. Hydroxide precipitation was observed in the following pH ranges: 1.5-2.0 - for Zr, 3.0-4.3 - for In, 6.5-8.0 - for Nd and Y. Coprecipitation was conducted at pH 9-10. Thermal transformations of coprecipitated hydroxides were studied. Conditions of crystallization of intermediate and final phases in ZrO2-In2O3-Nd2O3(Y2O3) system were determined
