Description
We have measured the magnetic susceptibility of UPd3 along the a-, b- and c-axes from 0.4 to 80 K. With decreasing temperature, the c-axis susceptibility shows a sharp drop, and the a- and b-axis results show increases, at the antiferroquadrupolar and magnetic transitions, at 6.8 and 4.5 K, respectively.
