Description

As a consequence of the geometrical features of dilations massless particles do not interact in a local, dilationally invariant quantum theory. This result also holds in models in which dilations are only an asymptotically visible symmetry of the S-matrix. (orig.)

Infolge der geometrischen Merkmale der Dilation stehen masselose Teilchen in einer lokalen, dilatationsinvarianten Quantentheorie nicht miteinander in Wechselwirkung. Das gilt auch fuer Modelle, in denen Dilatationen nur eine asymptotisch sichtbare Symmetrie der S-Matrix sind. (orig.)
