To the theory of current-convective instability of relativistic electron beams

Description

It is shown that account of non-potentiality of perturbation fields brings about the decrease of the maximum increment of current-convective instability increase by γsub(parallel)sup(2/3) times and the increase of the corresponding threshold current of the electron beam by γsub(parallel)sup(2) times. The effect of the degree of charge beam compensation on the nature of instability development is found
