Signal enhancement by velocity modulation in time-of-flight analysis of atomic and molecular beam scattering
Description
The use of velocity modulation techniques to enhance signal-to-noise ratios in time-of-flight analysis of molecular beam scattering is discussed. The design, construction and performance of such a device for use in experiments with charge-exchanged beams are described. (author)
