Improvement of Crossed Undulator for Higher Degree of Polarization

Description
A simple scheme to realize fast switching of helicity is described. It is based on a modification of the crossed undulator configuration, but can achieve much higher degree of circular polarization. The principle is explained in brief together with practical examples to show the performances of the proposed scheme
