A helium particle detector for the ALT-II pump limiter experiment
- 1. National Inst. for Fusion Science, Nagoya (Japan)
Description
A helium particle detector has been developed for the ALT-II pump limiter experiment in TEXTOR. The detector is basically an ion scattering spectrometer and is able to measure both pressures of helium and deuterium. In this paper an outline of the detector system is introduced and results are reported for particle balance during changeover experiments between He and D2 on a graphite wall under rf discharge with mixture gas of He and D2.
