Photoluminescence of Te-doped gallium antimonide crystals
- 1. AN SSSR, Leningrad. Fiziko-Tekhnicheskij Inst.
Description
The evolution of photoluminescence spectra and variation of the degree of polarization of emission of GaSb(Te) crystals under uniaxial pressure are studied in the Hall concentration range 2 x 1017 to 2 x 1018 cm-3. It is shown, that the PL spectra are adequately described by a theory which takes into account electron transition from the c-band to the second ionized state of the acceptor. The pressure coefficient of the shift of the L-minimum is found equal to 10 x 10-3 meV/kg cm-2. An estimate of the deformational potential constant is also made. (author)
