Cation-anion interaction in solutions of aluminium, gallium, indium nitrates with different acidity

Description
By the method of Raman spectroscopy solutions of Al, Ga, In nitrates of different composition are studied. It is shown that cation-anion interactions in solutions intensify in the series Al(NO3)3<Ga(NO3)3<In(NO)3. Formation of intrasphere nitrate complexes in solutions of In(NO3)3 and Ga(NO3)3 is detected. It is ascertained that decrease in solution acidity results in the weakening of cation-anion interactions. In indium nitrate solutions decomposition of intrasphere complexes takes place, whih can be explained by competing effect of hydrolysis on the processes of complexing
