On surprises from Bose-Einstein correlations
Description
Recent theoretical work has shown that there may be differences between π0π0 and π±π± correlations and quantum statistical correlations between π+ and π-. I discuss the physical origin of such effects and how they may come about in the framework of the string model. (orig.)
