Thermoelectromotive force of nickel binary solid solutions with aluminium, gallium, indium and niobium

Description
The temperature dependence of thermoelectromotive force of nickel alloys with aluminium, gallium indium and niobium has been investigated within the temperature range 77-13000 deg K. The expression has been suggested describing nonlinear temperature dependence of thermoelectromotive force considering the members up to the third order inclusive in expansion of kinetic integrals; by energy. It has been shown that, by comparing this expression with the experimental data, the information might be obtained on the relaxation times of electron-phonon interaction and energy-level density curve. The results obtained qualitatively correspond to the rigid band model
