Analysis of elements by means of excitation of characteristic roentgen radiation with charged particles
Description
The element analysis was carried out using excitation of characteristic X-ray radiation by charged particles, accelerated in a cyclotrone. The work task is to develop theoretic bases of the method. All the possible cases in the element analysis are considered: thin and thick samples, the effect of charged particle energy change at their penetration into a sample, absorption of characteristic X-ray radiation in a sample, secondary fluorescent radiation etc. Simple and precise enough formulae with an account of all these factors are suggested to carry out the quantitative analysis
