Determination of micro minerals in phosphorus source fed to animals by activation with neutrons

Description

Instrumental neutron activation analysis was applied to determine the elements Ca, Co, Cr, Cu, Eu, Fe, K, La, Mg, Mn, Na, P, Sb, Sc and Zn in four phosphatic supplementation samples. analysis of variance, Turkey's and Sheffe's test were applied to certify the homogeneity of the sub-samples (200 mg). In general, the precision of the method was lower than 15%. The phosphatic supplementation samples analyzed can be considered adequate to feed into animals in relation to mineral composition.
