Optical and X-ray pulses from the crab

Description
The shape of the spectrum and the polarization of the optical and X-ray pulses from the Crab pulsars are analyzed, assuming that the high-frequency radiation originates from Compton boosting of the radio emission. The resulting properties are in good agreement with observations
