Radioiodination of the protein complex of the VA-MENGOC-BC vaccine

Description

In this work was made the labelling of the protein complex of the vaccine VAMENGOC-BC with iodine-125 in order to study its immunological responses. These proteins were in both forms: dissolved and conjugated with polisacarids of the C-group. The were used three methods of iodination: chloramine-T, iodogen and lactoperoxidase. Was found out that dissolved proteins can be iodinated using these three methods with 0.1 mCi of iodine-125, and the obtained specific activities were similar. Although the conjugated proteins can be iodinated only by two methods (chloramine-T and iodogen), the obtained specific activities were the same
