Asymptotic normalization of the deuteron D state
Creators

Description
The ratio of the D-state to S-state asymptotic normalization of the deuteron wave function provides a model independent measure of the deuteron D state. We show how that ratio can be determined directly from experimental data by extrapolating the tensor polarization T/sub 2nu/ in p-d scattering to the neutron exchange pole
