Description
Beam breakup (BBU) instabilities resulted from interaction of beam and cavity will deteriorate beam quality. Transverse impedances reflect the degree of such interaction. The author reports the result of simulation of transverse impedances of three different induction accelerating cavities. The calculated impedances using MAFIA fit to the measured impedances very well
