Description
Fluoroplast-3 has been used as an adsorbent for the gas-adsorption analysis of corrosive inorganic fluorides (F2, ClF, ClF3, ClOF2, BrF5,WF6) over a temperature range of 50-100 deg C. The fluoroplast-3 unit surface is 4 m2/g, being 2 times as large as that of fluoroplast-4 (teflon), which gives the possibility to shorten the adsorption column. This adsorbent has been shown to be less resistant to corrosive fluorides at temperatures above 50 deg C in comparison with fluoroplast-4
