Low-energy dilaton
Description
We study consequences of scale symmetry breaking in the QCD effective SU(2)xSU(2) chiral model. The mass of pseudo-Goldstone boson dilaton is estimated to be Mσ ≅ 1 GeV and the upper bound to its lifetime τσ ≤ 4x10-28s. We also show that the dilaton gives a considerable contribution to the pion scalar radius. (orig.)
