In the European Intercomparison Programme of TLD dosemeter systems for environmental monitoring 1978/79, more than 17 laboratories participated with 45 dosemeter systems. An outline summary of the results is presented and the following aspects are discussed: 1) Batch uniformity of different TLD systems 2) Zero dose readings 3) Reproducibility. (U.K.)
