Study of (n,p) stimulated nuclear reactions using pre-post compound theory

  • 1. Physics Dept., D.S. College, Aligarh (India)

Description

Reaction cross sections for several (n,p) reactions have been calculated using pre and post compound theory. In the present work, analysis of data has indicated the effect of pre-compound emission. The excitation functions for the (n,p) reactions 23Na(n,p)23Ne, 27Al(n,p)27Mg, 48Ti(n,p)48Sc, 49Ti(n,p)49Sc, 56Fe(n,p)56Mn, 66Zn(n,p)66Cu, 76As(n,p)76Ge, 105Pd(n,p)105Rh, 109Ag(n,p)109Pd, 112Cd(n,p)112Ag have been calculated in the energy range 10-20 MeV
