Radiative boson decays
Description
Some dynamical properties of the pions are investigated through the decays π0 → 2γ, π+ → e+ nuγ, and π+ → e+e+e-nu. Particular attention is paid both to the phenomenological determination and the theoretical prediction of the γ and xi parameters. The anomalous events measured in the Z0 → /+/-γ decay are analyzed. Some possible explanations are studied in detail. The existence of some hypothetical heavy leptons with masses lying between m/sub w/ and m/sub z/ is suggested as a possible solution for the puzzle
