Study of nuclear reactions with radioactive 17F at HRIBF
Description
Radioactive 17F beams were produced at the Holifield Radioactive Ion Beam Facility (HRIBF) using the Isotope Separator On-Line (ISOL) technique. Two of the experiments using accelerated 17F beams to study reaction mechanisms are presented: the simultaneous emission of two protons from a resonance in 18Ne and the breakup of 17F by 208Pb.
