Vortices on string world sheet and critical dynamics

Description
Vortices on the world sheet of a string, moving in unconstrained space, result in a continuous dependence of critical indices, in particular - critical dimensions, on non-contractable cycle parameters. Limiting values of the latter exist due to phase transition, linked with conformal symmetry breaking. Multiple appendices are discussed
