Investigation of surface heterogeneity by means of radioisotopic tracers
Description
Adsorption of bromide ions on smooth and platinized platinum has been studied in the range of potentials from 0.1 to 1.0 v, the adsorbate concentration being from 10-4 to 10-2N. It is shown that in the Pt - Br- system the conditions necessary for strict employing of differential isotope methods are fulfilled. It is shown by the differential isotope and the kinetic isotope techniques that the platinum surface displays own heterogeneity and interaction exists between platinum-bromine dipoles
