Theoretical particle and energy flux formulas for tokamaks
Description
A complete set of formulas using notation from recent International Plasma Study Group panel reports on thermal and particle transport in tokamaks is given. It is shown why these formulas are attractive candidates for predictive modelling of experimental data. Estimates are given of the uncertainty in the theories. A method is outlined for determining the minimally complex model which fits a given data base. (author)
