Lessons from Fukushima nuclear power plant

The Fukushima Dai-ichi NPP causes a new fear of nuclear and antinuclear wave. The public awareness of nuclear power plants is limited, so they are very fear of the consequences of nuclear power plant accident, and a phenomenon of an eerie sight rises through the haze occurs. However, development of the world and China is badly need of energy sources, nuclear power development has an important role in speeding up economic construction and realizing energy saving and emission reduction for our country. This paper analyzes general situation and cause of the Fukushima NPP, which can be referred to in the improvement of the NPP policy implementation, development plan and the NPP accident emergency plan.
