Breathers and other exact solutions from Josephson's equation in 2+1 dimensions

Description
We derive for Josephson's equation [partial2/partialx2 +partial2/partialy2-partial2/partial (ct)2]psi=j0 sinpsi +VG/sub int/ cospsi, some simple exact solutions, including a breatherlike solution of topological charge zero. We label these solutions fluxon solutions since they carry through the two-dimensional Josephson junction an integral number of magnetic-flux quanta
