The requirements of assessment standards and quantities are outlined. In addition, a short description is given of the procedure practiced at present to prove long-term safety, and a rough evaluation is made of the general approach practiced in the Federal Republic of Germany. (DG)

Die Anforderungen an Beurteilungsmassstaebe und -groessen werden aufgezeigt. Weiterhin erfolgt eine Kurzbeschreibung der gegenwaertig beim Nachweis der Langzeitsicherheit praktizierten Vorgehensweise sowie eine Grobbewertung der in der Bundesrepublik praktizierten generellen Vorgehensweise. (DG)
