Effect of impurities on titanium and hafnium electrical resistance
Description
Δdrho/c values for 42 different impurities in titanium and for 10 impurities in hafnium are presented. Peculiarities of 4 group metal base alloys related to polymorphic transformation, gettering properties and presence of energy gap at approximately 4.2 electron per atom that should be taken account of for correct determination of Δdrho/c value are considered. For a number of impurities in Ti Δdrho/c values are predicted or sufficiently clarified basing on manifested regularity relating to mutual position of the matrix and impurity atoms in the periodic system
