Search for signature inversion of yrast band in odd-odd nucleus 162Lu

Description
In the framework of the cranked shell model, the signature inversion is interpreted by introducing a positive γ-deformation. In order to distinguish the mechanisms proposed in the different models, K. Hara and Y. Sun suggested to study the isotonic dependence of signature splitting. Following this idea, and also for obtaining systematic information on signature inversion, the 162Lu nucleus was investigated
