A new portable detecting instrument for the radioactivity in building materials based on PC/104

Description
This paper introduces a new method to design a portable detecting instrument of the radioactivity in building materials. The instrument's general architecture was given. The paper discusses its operation principle, concrete circuit design and the slave computer's software structure. The system based on PC/104, associates with A/D sampling card and PKD-01 monolithic etc. It s obvious features are simple circuit, higher reliability and stability. (authors)
