A PMR study of rare earth metal metaphosphates

Description
The hydrated trimetaphosphates and tetrametaphosphates of lanthanum, cerium, neodymium, and europium, and their dehydration products, have been studied by proton magnetic resonance. The change in the state of water in the hydrated lanthanide metaphosphates under the conditions of storage, and the influence of these changes on the course of the dehydration of the crystal hydrates, have been demonstrated. An analysis of the PMR spectra has been carried out, to estimate various crystal-chemical parameters of the hydrated metaphosphates of the rare earth elements (REE): the distance between the protons in the water molecule and the distances between the proton and the paramagnetic cation
