Seismic design of piping systems
Description
This paper deals with the method used in France for the PWR nuclear plants to derive locations and types of supports of auxiliary and secondary piping systems taking earthquake in account. The successive steps of design are described, then the seismic computation method and its particular conditions of applications for piping are presented. The different types of support (and especially seismic ones) are described and also their conditions of installation. The method used to compare functional tests results and computation results in order to control models is mentioned. Some experiments realised on site or in laboratory, in order to validate models and methods, are presented

Apres une presentation sommaire des reseaux de tuyauteries des circuits secondaires et auxiliaires de centrales PWR, cet article nous donne la methode utilisee en France pour definir les emplacements et les types des supports tout en tenant compte des effets sismiques. Les etapes successives de la conception sont decrites, puis les methodes de calcul au seisme et les conditions particulieres d'application aux tuyauteries sont presentees. Les differents types de supports sont decrits ainsi que leurs conditions d'installation. La methode utilisee pour comparer des resultats d'essais et de calculs afin de valider des modeles est evoquee. Quelques essais sur site et en laboratoire sont aussi presentesFiles
