Determination of the coefficient of diffusion of cadmium and magnesium vapors in gases by the Stefan method
Description
The Stefan method is used to substantiate theoretical relations for determination of diffusion coefficients. The experimental unit is described and the diffusion of cadmium and magnesium vapors in helium, argon, and molecular nitrogen is studied. The test data is compared with the results of quantum-mechanical calculations
