Description

In the present work, there were studied the characteristics of the ignition and flame propagation in nanothermites caused by laser pulse radiation. The thermite mixtures based on nanopowders of Al/CuO and Al/Bi2O3, manufactured with the use of ultrasonic mixer, were tested. The dependences of the burning rate and the energy of the initiating laser pulse on the density were determined for Al/CuO nanothermite. Assumptions have been advanced regarding the reaction mechanism upon the initiation of nanothermites by laser radiation

Abstract (Russian)

В работе исследованы характеристики инициирования и распространения реакции горения в нанотермитах Al/CuO и Al/Bi2O3 при воздействии лазерного импульса. Определены зависимости скорости горения и энергии инициирующего лазерного импульса от плотности для нанотермита Al/CuO. Выдвинуты предположения о механизме реакции при инициировании нанотермитов лазерным излучением
