A NaI(Tl)-241Am light pulser of increased reliability by eliminating epoxy sealing

Description
A new type of NaI(Tl)-241Am light pulser has been developed without any epoxy sealing so as to improve the reliability significantly. Glass-metal fusing and metal-to-metal welding are employed to seal the NaI(Tl) crystals against moisture. (orig.)
